“Colors of Cosmopolitan”

Edi Markas is really adept at turning lines into space to portray real
objects in a cosmopolitan world. His strokes blur the boundary
between the subject and the object, raising question of what
meaning lies behind it.

Selected Works

Born in Surabaya 12 April 1968, Edi Markas has started painting since he was a boy, and
he won several contests during his school years. Since 1990, he has held exhibitions in
various places.
